DAY 3
We left Kiruna to make our way to Abisko National Park. On the way there, we stopped by the Ice Hotel, as well as homes of the aboriginal Lapland-ers - the Samis
The ice hotel is constructed out of fake snow, as well as ice from a nearby river. They would reconstruct the place every year because the ice would melt in the summer.
Chilling at the ice bar with our drinks served in an ice mug. The mugs were made from freezing water from the river. We were sitting on some animal fur laid on ice chairs.
Apparently, there was even an ice toilet! Jann responded "I seriously question the foundation of the toilet". Yeah, especially after 50 people sit on it haha.

Jann would have to squeeze awkwardly into the tiny space I would easily fit into. Note, he is REALLY tall.
Hallway of the ice hotel, with ice chandeliers
An ice church! They have weddings here sometimes too.
The beds weren't too comfy hahaha. Felt like slightly padded ice, and the bed felt cold.

Here's a cool clip on automatic ice doors
